We are a multi-disciplined undergraduate research group at Cornell University. The goal of ASTRO is to develop a fully Autonomous Rocket Propelled Landing Vehicle (ALV). We want to be able to drop the Lander from several miles in the sky and have it safely and automatically land on its own. Our project is one of the most aggressive ones attempted by any undergraduate team in the nation and we have made significant progress so far.
